Fish Fry



Ingredients.................
  1. Fish Sliced (Rohu)- 1 kg
  2. Grated Garlic- 2 tbsp
  3. Grated Ginger- 2 tbsp
  4. Soya Sauce- 2tbsp
  5. Red dry whole chili- 4-5
  6. Coriander seeds-3 tbsp
  7. Cumin seeds- 1/2 tbsp
  8. Salt ot taste
  9. Red chili powder- 1 1/2 tbsp
  10. Turmeric powder- 1 tbsp
  11. Mustard oil/ vegetable oil- 2 cup
  12. Yellow mustard seeds-  2-3 tbsp (soak in a water about 2-3 hours)
  13. Rice- 3 tbsp(soak in a water about 2-3 hours)
Method................
  • First, roast coriander powder, red dry whole chili and cumin seeds in medium low heat about 2 min, then make a fine paste including with yellow mustard seeds and rice.
  • Scale and clean fish skin, for marination- mix dry spices (turmeric powder, red chili powder, Soya sauce, salt) and grated ginger, garlic in a paste, and smear over the fish ans set the aside for about 2 to 3 hours.
  • Heat the wok and pour the oil after 2 min when oil looks very hot then add fish pieces and slow the heat on low medium cook both sides till golden brown.
  • Fish fry is ready to eat.
