- Boiled potato small- 5-6
- Onion large- chopped-1
- Tomato puree- 3tsp
- Green chili chopped- 1
- Grated ginger- 1tsp
- Grated garlic-1tsp
- Turmeric pwd- 1/4tsp
- Red chili pwd- 1/2tsp
- Garam masala pwd- 1/4tsp
- Coriander pwd- 1sp
- Curd- 2tsp
- Salt to taste
Spices crushed.........................
- Fennel seeds- 1tsp
- Cloves-4
- Black cardomom- 2
- Green cordomom- 2
- Black peppers- 6-9
- Cenemom -1/4inch
Method.....................................
- Make a crushed powder by blender, and keep a side, Remove the peel from boiled potato not too soft,prick them.
- Heat the wok, pour oil after 1/2 min add potato and fry golden brown and keep aside, now add onion, ginger, garlic and fry till golden brown, now add crushed spices, again fry for 1/2 min.
- Now add garam masala, salt, tomato,turmeric pwd, coriander pwd, red chili pwd fry for 5 second, now take out in mixer and make a fine paste, put back the paste again in wok add water, curd and fried potato, cover the lid and cook 10 min on low heat.
- Dum Aloo is ready to serve.
