Ingredients....................
- Split Bengal gram/ chan daal- 200gm soaked in water about 2hour
- Sliced onion- 1/2
- Sliced tomato- 1/2
- Grated ginger- 1tbsp
- Green chopped chili- 1
- cumin seeds- 1tbsp
- Salt to taste
- Oil- 5tbsp
- Coriander pwd- 1tbsp
- Garam masal- /12tbsp
- Turmeric pwd- 1/2 tbsp
- Fresh chopped coriander for garnishing
- Water- 200ml
Method......................
- Heat the wok pour oil, after 10 sec. add onion, ginger, cumin seeds and green chili ,fry 1/2 min then add sliced tomato and dry spices like(coriander powder, garam masala, turmeric powder, salt).
- After 1/2 add soaked chana daal/split Bengal gram and fry about 1 min, then add water cook about 15 min.or 5 whistle.
- Split Bengal gram soup/ chana daal is ready to serve.
