- Plain flour- 250gm
- Yeast- 1/2tsp
- Salt- 1/4tsp
- Curd- 5tsp
- Buter/Lard- 8tsp
- Garlic minced- 3tbsp
- Water- 1cup
- Olive oil- 4tbsp
Method...........................
- Take a big bowl add flour+salt+yeast+minced garlic- 2tbsp, mix them well, now add half the buter/lard to the dough and rub the dough 1min or until butter is well incorporated into the dough now add water, nead a smooth dough, cover the dough from clingflim and keep in warm place like microwave or oven for 2hours
- Pre- heat the oven 250oc, place the oven baking flt tray into the oven, meanwhile melt the remaning garlic and olive oil in a small bowl for spreading.
- Dive the dough 5 even portion , Press each portion into a 15 x 20cm tear shape, about 3mm-thick. apply olive garlic mixer on naan now Place the naan onto the preheated oven tray or stone. Bake in preheated oven for 6-8 minutes or until slightly puffed and golden brown both sides. Remove from oven and immediately brush with the butter. Repeat in another batch with remaining dough. Serve immediately.
- Home made Garlic Naan is ready to sreve.
