Home-made Desi Ghee (Clarified butter)




Ingredients.........................
  1. Double Cream - 500gm

Method.....................
  • Place the cream in a thick pan and whisk it with whisker, after 1/2 min cream turns into very thick like cake icing.


  • Continue the whisker, and after 6 second you can see butter start coming on surface and white liquid will be separate.  Take out the butter .

  • Heat the wok, place the buter on low flame, it will take 15-20min. and ghee/butter will start coming out of the buter. Stir it occasionally.

  • The foam curdles and setel at the bottom, starin the ghee/buter and pour it in some container.

  • Home-made Desi Ghee (Clarified butter) ia ready to use.
