Ingredients.................
- Semolina- 100gm
- Bell pepper chopped- 1/2cup
- Chopped onion-1
- Sliced green chili-2
- Carrot chopped- 1/4cup
- Monkey nut- 5tbsp
- Mustard seeds-1tbsp
- Curry leaves-6-7
- Lemon juice- 2tbsp
- Bengal Gram-4tbsp soaked in water
- Salt to taste
- Oil-4tbsp
Method...........................
- Heat the wok, roast the semolina without oil low medium heat for 3min. or ,until you get the aroma of semolina .
- Now transfer the semolina another vessel, pour oil-after 2sec add mustard seeds, onion, green chili, salt, fry about 10 sec, add monkey nuts, curry leaves, fry about 1/2min, now add soaked bengal gram, and bell peppers and carrot, fry again 1/2 min.
- Now add semolina, mix them well add 1 cup water , lemon juice 2tbsp and cover from the lid for 1 min, low heat.
- Open the lid, stir the upma about 1 min. that's it...............
- Vegie Upma is ready to serve.
