Vegie Upma



Ingredients.................

  1. Semolina- 100gm
  2. Bell pepper chopped- 1/2cup
  3. Chopped onion-1
  4. Sliced green chili-2
  5. Carrot chopped- 1/4cup
  6. Monkey nut- 5tbsp
  7. Mustard seeds-1tbsp
  8. Curry leaves-6-7
  9. Lemon juice- 2tbsp
  10. Bengal Gram-4tbsp soaked in water
  11. Salt to taste
  12. Oil-4tbsp

Method...........................
  • Heat the wok, roast the semolina without oil low medium heat for 3min. or  ,until  you get the aroma of semolina .

  • Now transfer the semolina another vessel, pour oil-after 2sec add mustard seeds, onion, green chili, salt, fry about 10 sec, add monkey nuts, curry leaves, fry about 1/2min, now add soaked bengal gram, and bell peppers and carrot, fry again 1/2 min.

  • Now add semolina, mix them well add 1 cup water , lemon juice 2tbsp and cover from the lid  for 1 min, low heat.

  • Open the lid, stir the upma about 1 min. that's it...............

  •  Vegie Upma is ready to serve.

Triangle Grill Bread for kids



Ingredients.............

  1. Bread slice -2
  2. Butter- 1tbsp
Method..................
  • Cut the bread like a picture, spread the butter on it.

  • Switch on the gas low medium high, place the oven wire rack, you can use cake rack as well,leave for 1 min.

  • Now place the bread butter side for 4sec.

  • Triangle Grill Bread for kids is ready.

Cauliflower Soup with Grill Bread



Ingredients..................

  1. Cauliflower florets- 1cup
  2. Potato- 1small diced and peel
  3. Oil/Lard- 2tbsp
  4. Salt to taste
  5. Chopped ginger- 1/2tbsp
  6. Chopped garlic- 1/2tbsp
  7. Turmeric pwd- 1/2 tbsp
  8. Curry pwd-1/4tbsp
  9. Chopped onion- 1
  10. Green chilli-1

Method........................
  • Heat the oil pour oil/ lard, after 3sec, add chopped ginger, garlic and green Chili, fry till golden brown.

  • Now add chopped onion, salt, turmeric pwd, curry pwd, and fry about 4sec.

  • Now add cauliflower  florets and diced potato and fry till golden brown, then add vegetable stock and cook about 1 min.

  • Now take a jar pour the mixer, and make smooth paste............. then transfer to wok and check the constancy, cook 4 sec.
Cauliflower Creamy Soup is ready to eat.

Thandai- Refrigrant




Ingredients.....................

  1. Full Cream Milk- 4 glass
  2. Cardomom powder- 1tbsp
  3. Sugar- 100gm
  4. Black pepper- 10-12
  5. Fennel seeds- 3tbsp
  6. Poppy seeds - 4tbsp soaked in water about 5 hours
  7. Almond- 20-25
  8. Charoli- 3tbsp
  9. Raisins- 4tbsp
  10. Melon seeds- 4tbsp (optional)
  11. Rose petals- 15-20
  12. Rose water- 3tbsp

Method...........................
  • Soak almond, melon seeds, charoli, raisins, fennel seeds, black pepper ,poppy seeds and rose petals in 4cup water for 5 hours.

  • Boil the milk in a pan, add sugar , green cardomom powder and allow it to cool, meanwhile grind soaked ingredients (peel the almond before) to make a smooth paste using littl bit of water.

  • Now cool the boiled milk completely , add paste, rose water and mix it well, if you want you can drain the milk with muslin clothe/strainer other wise you can drink like that.

  • Chill for about an hour before serving.

Mummy Style Stuffed Sorgham Flat Bread (Jwaar Roti)


Ingredients.........................
  1. Sorgham flour- 250gm
  2. Bengal Gram Lentil- 180gm soaked in water for 2hours
  3. Black pepper- 10-20
  4. Black Caromom- 2-3
  5. Cumin seeds- 1tbsp
  6. Green chili-2
  7. Fresh chopped corriander- 3tbsp
  8. Asodotida- 2pinch
  9. Ginger- 1inch
  10. Garlic- 3-4
  11. Salt to taste
  12. Water- 1/2cup for grinding
  13. Oil- 1cup for deep fry

Method.............................
  • First, wash the sokaed letils , pour in grinder, add ginger, green chili, garli, black pepper, black cardomom, cumin seeds , asofotida and make a smoth paste , now transfer the paste in another vessel, sprinkle some fresh corriander leaves, and keep aside.
  • Now Sift the flour and make smooth dough using water , and keep a side for 10 min. after that add salt and mix it well.
  • Take a two small balls of sorgham flour , sprinkle some flour dust on rolling board and roll them with rolling pin ,seperatly.
  • Now pour 2tbsp lentil paste on rolled flat bread and spread evenly, cover it from second rolled flat bread, and close the sides from finger carefully.
  • Heat the oil , place the sorgham stuffed flat bread(jwaar roti) and fry till golden brown from both sides.
  • Mummy Style Stuffed Sorgham Flat Bread (Jwaar Roti) is ready to serve

Sandwich Bag



Ingredients............................

  1. Bread slice-1
  2. Mix veg- 4tbsp
  3. Water-3tbsp
  4. Oil- 4tbsp
Method....................
  • Cut the sides of bread, and roll the bread with rolling pin.

  • Fill the mix veg in middle , now wet the bread sides from water 

  • Seal the bread sides like picture and make a shape like a bag.

  • Brush oil on sandwich bag and put in toaster for 1/2 min.
  • Sandwich Bag is ready to serve.
