Home-made Desi Ghee (Clarified butter)




Ingredients.........................
  1. Double Cream - 500gm

Method.....................
  • Place the cream in a thick pan and whisk it with whisker, after 1/2 min cream turns into very thick like cake icing.


  • Continue the whisker, and after 6 second you can see butter start coming on surface and white liquid will be separate.  Take out the butter .

  • Heat the wok, place the buter on low flame, it will take 15-20min. and ghee/butter will start coming out of the buter. Stir it occasionally.

  • The foam curdles and setel at the bottom, starin the ghee/buter and pour it in some container.

  • Home-made Desi Ghee (Clarified butter) ia ready to use.

Thai Coconut Soup




Ingredients.................................

  1. Fresh coconut meat- 1cup
  2. Coconut milk/cream- 4tbsp
  3. Water- 1/2cup
  4. Grated ginger- 1/2tsp
  5. Grated Garlic- 1/2tsp
  6. Thai red curry sauce- 1tbsp
  7. Thai curry pwd- 2pinch
  8. Lime juice- 1tbsp
  9. Agave nectar/ Honey- 1tsp
  10. Salt to taste
  11. Sliced bellpepper-1/4 cup
  12. Sliced tomato seedless-1/4cup
  13. Chopped onion-1/2
  14. Green fresh corriander-2tbsp
  15. Green peas-1/4cup

Method............................
  • Make a smooth paste of coconut+cream+water+ginger+garlic+red thai curry sauce+lime juice+honey+curry pwd+salt.

  • Heat the wok pour paste add 1/2 cup water , now add bellpeppers+chopped onion+green peas+tomato, slow the heat and cook for 2-3min.

  • Thai Coconut Soup is ready to serve.

Home made Garlic Naan



Ingredients.........................

  1. Plain flour- 250gm
  2. Yeast- 1/2tsp
  3. Salt- 1/4tsp
  4. Curd- 5tsp
  5. Buter/Lard- 8tsp
  6. Garlic minced- 3tbsp
  7. Water- 1cup
  8. Olive oil- 4tbsp
Method...........................
  • Take a big bowl add flour+salt+yeast+minced garlic- 2tbsp, mix them well, now add half the buter/lard to the dough and rub the dough  1min or until butter is well incorporated into the dough now add water, nead a smooth dough, cover the dough from clingflim and keep in warm place like microwave or oven for 2hours

  • Pre- heat the oven 250oc, place the oven baking flt tray into the oven, meanwhile melt the remaning garlic and olive oil in a small bowl for spreading.
  • Dive the dough 5 even portion , Press each portion into a 15 x 20cm tear shape, about 3mm-thick. apply olive garlic mixer on naan now Place the naan onto the preheated oven tray or stone. Bake in preheated oven for 6-8 minutes or until slightly puffed and golden brown both sides. Remove from oven and immediately brush with the butter. Repeat in another batch with remaining dough. Serve immediately.

  • Home made Garlic Naan is ready to sreve.

Paneer do Pyaaza(Cubed Cheese in Onion Paste)



Ingredients........................

  1. Cottage cheese- 100gm
  2. Sliced onion- 2-3 medium
  3. Red whole chili- 2
  4. Black peppers- 10-15
  5. Cloves- 4-5
  6. Black Cardomom- 2
  7. Salt to taste
  8. Turmeric Pwd- 1/2tsp
  9. Red chili pwd- 1/2tsp
  10. Meat masala- 2tsp
  11. Grated ginger- 1tsp
  12. Grated garlic- 1tsp
  13. Cream- 1-2tsp Optional
  14. Oil- 8tbsp
  15. Water-1/4cup

Method...........................
  • Heat the pressure cooker, pour oil -after 10second add dry spices like- red chili+black cadromom+cloves+peppers.
  • Now add sliced onion and fry for 1/2 min or till transparent, then add powder spices like- red chili+meat masala+salt+turmeric pwd and ginger garlic grated, mix them and cook for 10seconds.

  • Now add 1/4 cup water and cover the lid cook about 1min or 2 whistle, now open the lid add cottage cheese/ paneer, cream and fry for 1min.

  •  Paneer do Pyaaza(Cubed Cheese in Onion Paste) is ready to serve.

Sugar Basket


Ingredients............................

  1. Sugar- 100gm
  2. Water- 4tbsp
  3. Oil- 1/2tbsp
  4. Bowl- 1
Method................................
  • Heat the wok add sugar and water and leave for 2min, Now stir the sugar, after 2min he colour of sugar turns golden.

  • Take a bowl, place some drop of oil and spread on outer, now make a thread of sugar like picture.


  • Leave -it for 1min now pull the basket carefully.
