Spiced Amritsari Chole
redients.........................................
Boiled black and white chickpes-2cup
Finely chopped onion-1+1/2 cup -2medium
Grated ginger- 1tsp
Grated garlic- 1tsp
Pomegranet seeds - 1tsp
Corriander pwd- 1tsp
Red chiliped pwd- 1/2tsp
Chopeed green chilli- 1
Salt to taste
Turmeric pwd- 1tsp
Garam masala- 1/3tsp
Cumin seeds- 1tsp
Tomato puree- 1/2cup
Gooseberry /Mango pwd-1half/1/2tsp
Oil- 15tsp
Method....................................
Heat the oil,place cumin seeds, after 10sec,add green chilli grated ginger, and garlic fry till golden brown.
Now add chopped onion and fry till tender or brown, add all dry spices, fry again 20 second, now add tomato puree,slat +boiled chickpeas, cook for 10 min,low medium heat.
After 10 min mashed chickpeas gently, and leave for 1min, again(you can add water according you-or 1cup), here I am using boiled chickpeas water.
