Home made cottage cheese with tomato gravy


Ingredients...................
  1. Home made cottage cheese/ paneer- 1 cup link is http://noopurnikhil.blogspot.com/2011/04/homemade-cottage-cheese-paneer.html
  2. Cumin seed- 1 tbsp
  3. Grated ginger- 1 tbsp
  4. Cushed black pepper- 1 tbsp
  5. Tomato chopped- 1 cup
  6. Oil- 5 tbsp
  7. Salt/ rock salt to taste
  8. Coriander chopped - 3 tbsp for garnishing
Method.............
  • Heat the wok pour oil and after 1/2 min add cumin seeds, ginger, crushed black pepper and fry about 1/2 min.
  • Then add chopped tomato and cook till soft and off the heat and make a smooth paste using mixer.
  • Heat the wok again pour the tomato smooth paste and cook if you want add little water and add salt.
  • If you want thick gravy  you can add potato flour -1 tbsp and place home made cottage cheese, cover the lid and cook 2 min.
  • Cottage cheese/ paneer with tomato gravy is ready to serve.
