Ingredients.......................
- Skinned Icelandic cod or haddock fillet(Boiled White fish/ canned- 200gm I am using rohu)
- Boiled Bengal Gram- 100gm
- Green chili-3-4
- Salt to taste
- Bread crumbs- 6tbap
- Ginger grated- 1tbsp
- Garlic grated- 1 tbsp
- Onion chopped- 1cup
- Coriander powder-1tbsp
- Red chili powder-1 tbsp
- Cumin powder- 1tbsp
- Crushed black pepper- 1/2 tbsp
- Soya sauce- 3tbsp
- Plain flour- 2tbsp
- Oil for fry
- First boiled Bengal gram / chana daal with salt, green chili and crushed black pepper.
- Mix all ingredients (fish, Bengal gram boiled, bread crumbs, salt, coriander powder, cumin powder,red chili powder, chopped onion, soya sauce) and make a small flat Pattie.
- Now make smooth paste of plain flour and dip a fish cake and roll in bread crumb again, shape into 8cakes, and keep it in fridge for 1 hour.
- Heat the wok and pour some drop of oil and place the cakes and fry till golden brown both sides
- Fish cake is ready to serve.
