Ingredients.................
- Chicken chunks- 200gm
- Cooked yellow lentil-1/2cup
- Aubergine- 1/4 cup
- Spinach- 1/4 cup
- Raw potato peeled- 1/4 cup
- Green cardomom-2
- Black cardomom- 2
- Cumin seeds- 3 tbsp
- Black pepper- 5-9
- Cloves- 4-5
- Mace- 1/2 inch
- Bay leaf- 2
- Red whole chili-2
- Coriander seeds- 2 tbsp
- Cine mom- 2 inch
- Star anise-1
- Red chili powder- 1tbsp
- Turmeric powder-1/2 tbsp
- Grated ginger- 1tbsp
- Grated garlic- 1tbsp
- Salt to taste
- Oil- 1/4 cup
- Heat the wok, and roast all whole spices and make a powder using crusher. add 5 tbsp oil and Fry chicken chunks till white.
- Heat the wok, pour oil, add sliced onion red whole chili, ginger garlic paste and fry till brown then add whole spiced powder and add aubergine, potato, spinach, salt and fry about 1 min.
- Now add cooked lentil and chicken fried chunks, fry 1/2 min , now add 2cup water and cook 3 min.
- Chicken dhansak is ready to serve .
