Bengal lentil Bite (chana daal halwa)



Ingredients...............
  1. Boiled chana daal/ bengal lentil-1cup
  2. Sugar-1cup
  3. Green cardamom-2
  4. Milk-1/4cup
  5. Oil-10ttbsp
  6. Desiccated coconut-1/2cup
  7. Raisins, cashew crushed-4tbsp

Method.................
  • In a dish soak the chana lentils for at least 1 hour. Add 4 cups of water to it and cook it in the pan until it is soft. now pour milk and make a smooth paste using mixer,Set it aside and let it cool.



  • heat the wok pour oil , add cardamom and paste,Keep stirring until it turns dark brown. When all of the water evaporates, it will come to a soft consistency, add sugar and  Garnish with cashew nuts and Raisins, coconut.






  • Bengal gram bite/ chana dal halwa is ready to serve.
