Ingredients.................
- Fish Sliced (Rohu)- 1 kg
- Grated Garlic- 2 tbsp
- Grated Ginger- 2 tbsp
- Soya Sauce- 2tbsp
- Red dry whole chili- 4-5
- Coriander seeds-3 tbsp
- Cumin seeds- 1/2 tbsp
- Salt ot taste
- Red chili powder- 1 1/2 tbsp
- Turmeric powder- 1 tbsp
- Mustard oil/ vegetable oil- 2 cup
- Yellow mustard seeds- 2-3 tbsp (soak in a water about 2-3 hours)
- Rice- 3 tbsp(soak in a water about 2-3 hours)
- First, roast coriander powder, red dry whole chili and cumin seeds in medium low heat about 2 min, then make a fine paste including with yellow mustard seeds and rice.
- Scale and clean fish skin, for marination- mix dry spices (turmeric powder, red chili powder, Soya sauce, salt) and grated ginger, garlic in a paste, and smear over the fish ans set the aside for about 2 to 3 hours.
- Heat the wok and pour the oil after 2 min when oil looks very hot then add fish pieces and slow the heat on low medium cook both sides till golden brown.
- Fish fry is ready to eat.
