Stuffed Dahi Bhalle (Patties with yoghurt)


Ingredients.......................
  1. Black skin peeled Gram - 1/2 cup(soaked in water8-9 hours)
  2. Chopped onion- 1 cup
  3. Boiled Potato - 1 cup in diced shape
  4. Boiled chickpeas- 1 cup
  5. Yoghrt mixed sugar- 1 cup
  6. Tam rind Chatni- 1/2 bowl
  7. Green chopped chili- 2 tbsp
  8. Ginger chopped- 1 tbsp
  9. Red chili powder- 1 tbsp
  10. Cumin powder- 1 tbsp
  11. Chaat masala- 4 tbsp
  12. Namkeen sev - 1 bowl
  13. Salt to taste
  14. Dry fruits for filling- 5 tbsp
  15. Oil for frying- 1 bowl
Method.................
  • Soak the Daal in plenty of water and leave it for about 8 to 9 hours ( even overnight is fine), drain the water and make a fine paste using mixer, you can add water if the mixture gets sticky or thick.

Heat oil in a deep fry pan for frying. take a transparent plastic sheet and drop some water on it, after that take 1 spoon batter and pour on the sheet and press with spoon (if batter is sticky you can apply some water  at bottom of spoon), make a circle shape.
Now fill some dry fruits in middle and fold it, now press the edges, now unfold the plastic sheet upper side apply some water on your palm and transfer the 1 bhalla on your palm easily and now pour in the hot oil for frying till golden brown both sides





Once all the Bhallas have been fried and are cooled down, Just before serving -Soak them in warm /hot water for about 10 minutes so that they become soft an moist, press the water out lightly from each Bhalla.



Now start the garnishing first place 2 bhalle add boiled potato and boiled chikpeas now sprinkle salt , red chili powder, chaat masala, squzee lemon, second chopped onion, ginger, green chili, sweetened yogurt, tam rind chatney,cumin powder, namkeen sev or crused chips.
  • Dahi Bhalle is ready to eat.
