- Sprats- 1
- Lemon juice- 1/2 tbsp
- Plain flour- 2 tbsp
- Salt to taste
- Turmeric Powder- 2 pinch
- Oil for fry- 4 tbsp
- Wash the fish, remove the heads and trim the tails, make a slit in the belly and remove the guts, now wash again and dry with kitchen paper.
- Fry in batches, turning once until golden brown, drain well
- Serve with lemon wedges and crusty bread and butter.
