- Boiled Potato- 3
- Corn flour- 6-7 tbsp
- Green chili-3
- Grated Ginger- 2 tbsp
- Red chili powder- 2 tbsp
- Cumin Powder- 2 tbsp
- Salt to taste
- Lemon- 1 tbsp
- Chopped Onion- 2
- Pomegranate - 4 tbsp
- Chips for garnishing
- Vegetable oil- 4 tbsp
- Boiled Mashed Dry Green Peas- 1 big bowl
- Tamarind Chutney- 1 small bowl
- Sweetend Plain Curd- 1 bowl
- First, mashed boiled potatoes and add corn flour, salt. Knead to a smooth dough.
- Divide the dough into 12 parts,take a little potato mixture and flatten it on your palm, round in shape and about 2 cm. thick. Similarly, make tikkis from the remaining mixture and keep aside.
- Heat about 3 tbsp oil in a frying pan, fry the tikkies on medium heat until golden brown on both the side.
- Take 3 tikkies in a plate, sprinkle some salt then add 4 tbsp boiled green peas paste then sprinkle some chopped onion, green chili, grated ginger now add about 6 tbsp thick sweetend yogurt, little tamarind chutney. Sprinkle pinch of red chili powder and cumin powder. Then add pomegranate seeds and crused some chips Follow the same procedure for the remaining tikkis.
- Aloo Tikki (Potato Patties ) is ready to serve
