Raw Jackfruit Fritters (Kathal Pakoras)

 
Ingredients................
  • 1 can  raw jack fruit pieces
  • Gram flour -1 cup
  • Plain flour - 1/4 cup
  • Red chili powder-1tbsp
  • Coriander powder- 1 tbsp
  • Garam masal powder - 1/4 tbsp
  • Turmeric powder- 1/4 tbsp
  • Safetied- 2 pinch
  • Salt to taste
  • Vegetable Oil- 1 bowl
  • Water- 1/2 cup
  • Rice Batter- 1/2 cup
Making of Rice Batter...................

Rice batter is very useful to making fritters to more crispy
  1. Wash  rice 4 tbsp and leave about 1/2 hour in water.
  2. After that make a thin paste using food processor that's it .
Method................
  • Firstly wash the raw jack fruit, once if you want you can steam jack fruit as well, here I am using non steamed jack fruit.
  •  Mix in the gram flour, plain flour, turmeric, chili powder, safetied, coriander powder garam masala powder and salt.
  • Add water and mplake semi thick paste.
  • Now add rice batter and see consistency of batter it should not be more thin other wise not wrap it evenly.
  • Heat the oil high medium flame.
  • Add one by one jack fruit pieces  in the batter and cover it well from both sides.
  • Now the coded jackfruti pieces put in oil.
  • After 1 min slow the heat on low medium and fry both sides till golden brown. 
  • Now raw jack fruit fritters is ready to serve you can use tomato ketchup or tomato chutney with .
