Corn Fritters

 


Ingredients....................
  1. Corn- 1 bowl
  2. Gram flour-1/2 cup
  3. Plain flour- 1/4 cup
  4. Green chili chopped- 2tbsp
  5. Spring onion chopped- 1/4 cup
  6. Onion chopped- 1/4 cup
  7. Grated ginger- 1 tbsp
  8. Coriander leaves chopped- 2 tbsp
  9. Red chili powder- 1/4 tbsp
  10. Coriander powder- 1/2 tbsp
  11. Safetied- 2 pinch
  12. Turmeric powder-1/4 tbsp
  13. Vegetable oil- 1 bowl
  14. Water- 1 cup
  15. Salt to taste
Method.............
  • Mix onion, green chili, ginger and corn with gram flour.
  • Add plain flour and mix well.
  • Now add dry spices(red chili powder, coriander powder, safetied, and turmeric powder).
  • Add water slowly and make thick paste.
  • Add chopped green coriander leaves and spring onion and mix again.
  • Check the consistency of batter, it should not be more thin or more thick.
  • Heat the oil low medium heat and drop the batter one by one.
  • After 2 min turn other side and leave for 2 min again.

  • Fry till golden brown both sides.
  • Corn Fritters is ready to serve with tomato ketchup or tomato chutney.
