Burgundy spicy Beet Root


Ingredients.....................................

    1. Raw beetroot grated- 1cup
    2. Yellow Lentil- 1/4cup soaked in water for2hours
    3. Grate ginger- 1tsp
    4. Grated garlic- !/2tsp
    5. Cumin seeds-1/2tsp
    6. Coriander pwd-1tsp
    7. Garam masala- 1/4tsp
    8. Red chili pwd- 1/2tsp
    9. Curry pwd- 1tsp
    10. Frozen peas- 1/4cup
    11. Salt to taste
    12. Turmeric pwd- 1/2tsp
    13. Oil- 6tsp

  1. Method.................................

  • Take a bowl add ginger garlic paste+all dry spices mix them you can use little bit water , keep a side. 

  • Heat the wok, pour oil after 1/2 min add cumin seeds fry till brown , then add spices paste fry till golden brown or 1min.


  • Now add grated beet root +Yellow lentil mix them properly, after 1 min.add green peas and cover from lid and cook for 10min.low medium heat.


  • Open the lid and now stir fry for1 +1/2min.


  • Burgundy Beet Root Masala is ready to serve.
